Your profile
Job DescriptionYour primary duties and responsibilities:- You will work in the laser production department with a focus on preparation, assembly, testing and the final packing of electro-optical products and subassemblies.
- You will participate in maintaining the high-tech infrastructure of our company. You will interact closely with other departments of the company such as Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Laser Engineering, and the Logistics team in order to continuously improve and automatize the production processes.
- As a Production Technician you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our ultrafast lasers by working alongside our Production team to build laser systems.
- You will work with a cross-functional team of engineers and other manufacturing professionals to achieve production goals.
- You will give feedback to the engineering team and provide assistance in troubleshooting regarding manufacturing processes and sub-assembly components, bringing our products to the next level.
- Your contributions to the development of documentation and work instructions are key to enhancing our productivity.
Experience & EducationYour background:- Technical apprenticeship (e.g. lab assistant or lab technician) or multiyear manufacturing experience
- You have experience working in an industrial environment requiring high-accuracy and high-precision
- Ideally, you have knowledge in the field of optics and optics assembly including experience with working under cleanroom conditions
- You are a self-motivated, ambitious and flexible person, who likes working in a very dynamic team in a fast-growing business environment
- Organizing your tasks and priorities comes natural to you, and you thrive working with minimal supervision
- Adapting to new environments and learning new things fast provides a welcome challenge for you to grow and advance your skills
Additional RequirementsYou bring:- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Word, etc.)
Conditions- A valid Swiss work permit is required
- The position is 80% to 100% (34-42 hours/week)

- The workplace is located at our headquarters near Zurich in Dübendorf, Switzerland
- The preferred starting date is June 1, 2025
